Care for the youngest – the child vision
In Eye Hospital Luxor we pay special attention to the diagnostics, treatment and prevention of eye disease in childhood.
The child's vision needs special attention and care. The child accumulates knowledge and basic information about the surrounding world through the senses and vision is the most important one of them. At the same time, during their early age the children developed intensively and the timely diagnosis of possible anomalies is an important condition for their correction.
It is recommended that the first ophthalmic exam is done when the child is around one year of age, if the child is in risk group – stay in neonatal incubator due to risk of retinopathy of the premature babies, and the related complications, or if there is a case of visual anomalies in the family. When the child turns of 3 and 6 years of age, this examination is mandatory.
